Eligibility for Sports
CCA Eligibility Policy
for 5th and 6th Grade
• Eligibility is based on turning in work and behavior.
• Students have until 1:00 p.m. Friday to get any missing assignments turned in.
• The first time that work is not turned in by 1:00 p.m. on Friday, the student will receive a warning letter. At this time they will still be able to play.
• The second time that work is not turned in by 1:00 p.m. on Friday, the student will receive a letter saying that they are ineligible for the next week.
• Warning and ineligible letters will be sent home with students on Friday. Students are responsible for hand delivering these notices to their parents.
• If a student has more than one teacher, warning and ineligibility status will be kept track of separately.
• After a student has been deemed ineligible three times, they will no longer be able to participate in the sport.
