- I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania, so I love the countryside and the mountains. I am married with three grown children, a son-in-law, and a grandson. Our youngest child still lives at home and attends Ferris State University. If you are wondering who the little girl is on my profile, that's me! I was in 5th grade when that picture was taken. This is my 22nd year as a teacher, and I am so glad I chose this career. I am still an active student and probably will be for a long time to come. Learning never ends!
